Update on FirstRand's legal process relating to the UK Court of Appeal judgment on Motor Commission cases.
FirstRand issued a voluntary announcement on 25 October 2024, informing shareholders of details of a UK Court of
Appeal ruling on motor commission cases and its decision to seek permission to appeal the judgment to the UK
Supreme Court. The group is pleased to confirm that permission to appeal has been granted on all grounds by the
UK Supreme Court, with the appeal expected to be heard sometime between mid-January and mid-April 2025.
No further details are available at this time, but the group will continue to update shareholders.
