VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT: DISPOSAL OF NAMPAK I&CS BUSINESS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 4
November 2024 regarding the disposal of Nampak's business of
industrial inkjet printing, laser marking and case coding
solutions ("Nampak I&CS") for a disposal consideration of
R142.5 million, (the "Disposal").
Nampak is pleased to advise shareholders that regulatory approval has
been received from the Competition Commission and the anticipated
payment and implementation date of the Disposal is 28 February 2025.
All the material conditions precedent to the transactions have now
been achieved.
This is another step forward in deleveraging the group's financial
position and the refocusing of the group's effort on the core Metals
group.
