CHANGE OF DIRECTORATE
In terms of section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby
advised of the resignation of Ben Magara, effective 1 April 2025, as an independent non-executive
director of Grindrod following his appointment as CEO of Exxaro Resources Limited which will also
be effective from 1 April 2025.
The board of directors ("the Board") wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Ben for his
contribution and service during his five-year tenure as a non-executive director and Chair of the
Remuneration Committee. Ben has been a valued member of the Board, making a significant
contribution to the Company.
The Board takes this opportunity to congratulate Ben on his new appointment and wishes him all the
best in his future endeavours.
