VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT: MUTUAL SEPARATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN EXXARO AND MR
KGABI MASIA
Shareholders are hereby notified that on 24 April 2025, Exxaro reached a mutual separation agreement with Mr
Kgabi Masia, the former Chief Coal Operations Officer.
This development will not affect the Company's operations, as Mr Mervin Govender will continue in his role as
Acting Chief Coal Operations Officer. The board and the new CEO of Exxaro remain committed to succession
planning and the timely appointment of permanent candidates to all critical roles.
Mr Kgabi Masia was employed by Exxaro since 1 March 2022.
