Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) secures a RMB2.1 billion credit line with the China
Development Bank (CDB) to strengthen infrastructure cooperation.
Noteholders are hereby advised that on the 9th of July 2025 the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA)
signed RMB2.1 billion (equivalent of R5.2bn) loan facility agreement with the China Development Bank on
the margins of the annual meeting of the BRICS Interbank Cooperation Mechanism in Brazil.
The facility will be used to support Energy, Information Communication Technology, Water, Health
infrastructure projects across Africa in terms of the Bank's existing mandate.
