NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 6.42 of the JSE Limited Debt and Specialist Securities Listings
Requirements, the board of directors of Mercedes-Benz hereby notifies noteholders that Mr. Abey
Kgotle, Executive Director for Human Resources and Corporate Affairs and Chie Executive Officer
("CEO")-designate, has decided, for personal reasons, to resign effective from 30 November 2025. The
Board of Mercedes-Benz South Africa has accepted Mr. Kgotle's resignation.
Mr. Kgotle joined Mercedes-Benz South Africa in 2017, and over the past eight years has made a
meaningful contribution to the company, its employees and stakeholders. Mercedes-Benz wishes him
continued success in his future endeavors.
To ensure continuity and stability, Mr. Andreas Brand will continue in his current role as CEO of
Mercedes-Benz until further notice, alongside his global responsibilities within Mercedes-Benz AG. Mr.
Brand, who has been serving as CEO and Executive Director Manufacturing since 2022, will remain in
this capacity while overseeing the ongoing operations and strategic direction of Mercedes-Benz.
