DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES
In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (as amended) (the
"Companies Act") and paragraph 6.54 of the JSE Requirements, shareholders are advised
that City Lodge has received formal notification in accordance with section 122(1) of the
Companies Act that the aggregate interest of Peresec Prime Brokers Proprietary Limited
("Peresec") has, as a result of recent disposals of City Lodge ordinary shares ("securities"),
decreased such that the total interest in the securities of the Company held by Peresec,
now amounts to 9.21% of the total number of securities in issue.
The board of directors of City Lodge ("Board") accepts responsibility for the information
contained in this announcement and confirms that, to the best of their knowledge and
belief, such information is true and this announcement does not omit anything likely to
affect the importance of such information. The Board has relied on the accuracy of the
information contained in the notification received from Peresec in making this statement.
As required by section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, the Company has filed the required
notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
