INCORRECT DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTERESTS IN SECURITIES
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 6 March 2026, relating to the
acquisition of Nedbank Group ordinary shares by Lazard Asset Management LLC (Lazard) such that
Lazard's total interest in the ordinary shares of Nedbank Group amounted to 5.344%, pursuant to
notification received from Lazard in terms of section 122(1) of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008.
The Company has since been informed by Lazard that due to an internal administrative error its initial
notification issued to Nedbank Group was incorrect. Nedbank Group had duly informed the Takeover
Regulation Panel (TRP) and this matter is under the TRP's formal consideration.
The board of Nedbank Group accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement
and confirms that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, such information is true and that this
announcement does not omit anything likely to affect the importance of such information included.
