NEW SALIENT DATES FOR DISTRIBUTIONS TO SHAREHOLDERS
LPC Manhattan Sponsors (Proprietary) Limited is authorised to announce that
further to the announcement of the Withdrawal of the Salient Dates dated
11 August 2003:
- The sale of properties by the company, as envisaged in the circular to
shareholders dated 15 July 2003, has substantially been completed;
- The company will distribute 50 cents per share in cash to shareholders by
way of a return of capital;
- The company will in due course make a distribution in specie of "b-class"
linked units in Alpina Investments ("Alpina");
- The new salient dates for the return of capital to shareholders is given
below.
The directors of Bonatla are continuing to wind down the company"s affairs and
expect to make a further distribution to shareholders prior to the winding up of
the company.
Salient dates 2004
Last day to trade in Bonatla shares for Friday,
return of capital February 6
Shares will trade ex the return of Monday,
capital February 9
Record date to be eligible for return of Friday,
capital February 13
Payment of return of capital Monday,
February 16
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday,
February 9 2004 and Friday, February 13 2004, both days inclusive.
