RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING AND SCHEME MEETING
Shareholders of MGX are referred to the Debt Refinancing of MGX and Scheme of
Arrangement announcement published on 27 November 2003, and are advised that at
the:
general meeting held on Monday, 19 January 2004 relating to the debt refinancing
by MGX, the requisite majority of MGX shareholders voted in favour of the
resolutions pertaining to the debt refinancing; and
scheme meeting held on Monday, 19 January 2004 relating to the creditors scheme
of arrangement proposed by MGX between the company and certain of its creditors
("the scheme"), the requisite majority of MGX creditors voted in favour of the
resolutions pertaining to the scheme.
The scheme is subject to, inter alia, the sanctioning by the court and a
certified copy of such order of court being lodged with and registered by the
Registrar of Companies, in terms of the Companies Act, 1973, which is expected
to be completed by Thursday, 29 January 2004
