APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraphs 3.59 to 3.62 of the JSE Listings Requirements the
board of INSURE wishes to advise shareholders that Mr Marius Ferreira has been
appointed to the board of directors as a Non-Executive Director with immediate
effect.
Marius holds a B.Com (Honors) degree in Economics and was the CEO of Gensec Bank
until August 2003, a position he held since the inception of the bank in 1998.
As part of the Sanlam Group he served on the Sanlam Executive Committee from
2001 to 2003 and was also an Alternate Director of Sanlam during this period.
Marius was an Executive Director of Genbel Securities Limited from 1994 and had
responsibility for treasury and funding of the group and also acted as Finance
Director for a period. Prior to that Marius was the General Manager - Treasury
at Gencor Limited.
Mr. Ferreira is currently an independent financial advisor and consultant. He
has also served on the Board of the Banking Council of SA and was a founding
member and past chairman of the Council of the Association of Corporate
Treasurers of SA.
