Further to the cautionary announcements published on 3 November and 15 December
2003, shareholders are advised that the negotiations referred to in those
announcements are continuing.
As these negotiations may have an effect on the price at which L.A. Group shares
trade on the JSE Securities Exchange SA, shareholders are advised to continue to
exercise caution when dealing in their L.A. Group shares until a further
