APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with Section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa, shareholders are advised that Lucia Swartz has
been appointed to the board of New Clicks Holdings as an independent non-
executive director, effective from 27 January 2004.
Lucia (46) is Group Human Resources Director at Sappi Limited. She has a BA
degree from the University of the Western Cape and has extensive experience in
the human resources field, including three years with Seagram Spirits and Wine
Group in New York. Before moving to New York, she served as a non-executive
director on the New Clicks Holdings board for 3 years.
