WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY
Shareholders are referred to the company"s Interim Profit Statement for the six
months ended 30 September 2003, published on 17 November 2003 ("the Interim
Profit Statement"). Shareholders were advised in the Interim Profit Statement
that the results of the company for the second half of the year can be expected
to be substantially lower than in the first half. As the information was not
reviewed or reported on by the company"s auditors, shareholders were advised to
exercise caution when dealing in Dorbyl shares until a further announcement was
made.
The company"s auditors have now reviewed the forecast financial information in
accordance with SAICA"s Guidelines on Profit Forecasts and their report is
available for inspection at the company"s registered office.
The cautionary announcement in the Interim Profit Statement is accordingly
withdrawn.
