Trading statement and cautionary announcement
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South
Africa (the JSE) a listed company is required to publish a trading statement
as soon as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next reporting
period will be materially different from those of the corresponding period of
the previous year.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that it is anticipated that Kersafs
results for the six months ended 31 December 2003 will be *materially higher
than those of the corresponding period of the previous year due to declining
interest rates, the increased shareholding in Sun International (South Africa)
Limited and improved trading at the groups Zambian resort. As the forecast has
not been reviewed or reported on by Kersafs auditors, shareholders are advised
to exercise caution when dealing in Kersafs shares until the release of the
preliminary profit announcement for the six months ended 31 December 2003 which
is expected to be published on or about 4 March 2004.
