TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Jasco"s interim results (published on SENS on 15 October 2003) reflected a
headline loss of 2,8 cents per share. In the announcement of those results,
shareholders were advised that Jasco anticipated ending its financial year to 28
February 2004 profitably.
Whilst it is still anticipated that Jasco will be profitable for the full year,
the earnings are nevertheless expected to be substantially lower than those
reported for the 2003 financial year. In this context the word "substantially"
is defined in the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South
Africa as meaning a difference greater than 30%.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by Jasco"s auditors. Shareholders are therefore advised
to exercise caution when dealing in Jasco securities until the publication of
its annual results in April 2004.
