Further to the announcements dated 17 and 19 November 2003 and the 5 January
2004, shareholders are advised that negotiations are still in progress which, if
successfully concluded, may lead to a change in control of the company.
Accordingly, ordinary shareholders and preference shareholders are advised to
continue to exercise caution when dealing in their ordinary shares and
preference shares, respectively, until such time as a detailed announcement is
published.
