DEALING IN SECURITIES BY DIRECTOR
In terms of par 3.63 - 3.74 of the JSE Listings Requirements, Mr. M Macdonald,
through his trust, The Hepzibah Trust, purchased 12 000 ordinary Astral shares
at R28.50/share on Friday, 13 February 2004. The total consideration was R345
080.36.
The new shares are to be held indirectly beneficially by Mr. Macdonald. In
compliance with Rule 3.66 of the JSE Listings Requirements, Mr. M Macdonald
received the requisite clearance to deal in the shares as set out above.
