Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement dated 1 December 2003,
and the further cautionary announcement dated 12 January 2004, and are advised
that the negotiations referred to therein have been terminated. Shareholders
are therefore no longer required to exercise caution when dealing in MTN shares.
