Trading statement and cautionary announcement
Shareholders are advised that the company"s earnings and headline earnings per
share for the year ended 31 December 2003 are expected to be materially less
than those for the comparative period ("materially" is defined in the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa as being between 10%
and 30%).
As these results have not been reviewed or reported on by the auditors,
shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company"s
shares until publication of the financial results on or about 27 February 2004.
