Notice of date of suspension of trade and delisting
Shareholders are advised that McCarthy ordinary shares will be suspended with
effect from the commencement of trade on Wednesday 25 February 2004, as a
result of the notice of intention of The Bidvest Group Limited to invoke the
provisions of section 440K(1) of the Companies Act, 1973 (Act 61 of 1973), as
amended, as more fully set out in the announcement released on Monday 23
February 2004.
The date of delisting of the ordinary shares is expected to be at
commencement of trading Tuesday 13 April 2004.
