In terms of Phumelela"s Articles of Association, Kim Latilla retired as a
director of the company on 10 December 2003 and did not offer himself for re-
election. The Board records its appreciation for the contribution made by Kim
during the four years that he served on the Board. Kim was a member of the
Remuneration Committee, Chairman of the Property Committee and a Trustee of the
Phumelela Share Incentive Scheme Trust. Kim"s experience as a Quantity Surveyor
and a racehorse owner proved to be invaluable.
