RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING AND SALIENT DATES
The directors are pleased to announce that the special resolution regarding the
change of name of the company to Industrial Credit Company Africa Holdings
Limited was passed unanimously by shareholders at the general meeting held on 26
February 2004. The special resolution will be lodged with CIPRO tomorrow.
Shareholders are advised of the following salient dates with regard to the
change in name:

Last day to trade in the name of Explorer on Friday, 12 March
Suspension of shares in the name of Explorer Monday, 15 March
at commencement of trading on
Change of name effective from commencement of Monday, 15 March
trading on
List and trade new shares in the new name of
Industrial Credit Company Africa Holdings Monday, 15 March
Limited under the share code ICC on
Record date Friday, 19 March
Issue to certificated shareholders of new
share certificates, posting of share
certificates and, in respect of dematerialised Tuesday, 23 March

Termination of shares in the name of Explorer Wednesday, 24 March
at commencement of trading on
Forms of surrender were posted to certificated shareholders with the circular to
shareholders dated 03 February 2004. Certificated shareholders are reminded
that share certificates in the name of Explorer may not be dematerialised or
rematerialised after Friday, 12 March 2004 and are reminded to surrender their
Explorer share certificate and/or dematerialise their shares.
