TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are hereby notified that Amap"s results for the 12 months ended
29 February 2004 are expected to be substantially higher than the audited
results for the year ended 28 February 2003 ("substantially" being an increase
of 30% or more as defined by the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities
Exchange South Africa). The results for the 12 months ended 29 February 2004
have not been reviewed and reported on by Amap"s auditors, and therefore
shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company"s
shares until the publication of the results on or about 22 April 2004.
Shareholders are reminded that Amap"s year end has been changed from 29
February to 30 June.
