RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
Investec Bank Limited is authorised to announce that, at a general meeting of
NAIL shareholders held on Thursday, 11 March 2004, the ordinary resolutions
relating to, inter alia, the proposed distribution by NAIL of its entire
shareholding of 36 356 142 shares in Metropolitan Holdings Limited by way of a
dividend in specie, and the proposed cash distribution to NAIL shareholders by
way of a reduction of the share premium account of NAIL, were unanimously
approved by the NAIL shareholders present.
