TRADING UPDATE AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South
Africa ("JSE"), a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as
soon as it becomes aware that its financial results for the next reporting
period will be materially different from those of the corresponding period of
the previous year.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that it is anticipated that Stella Vista"s
results for the six months ended 29 February 2004 will be substantially* lower
than those of the corresponding period of the previous year due mainly to the
conclusion of the World Cup Cricket project.
As the forecast has not been reviewed or reported on by Stella Vista"s auditors,
shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in Stella Vista"s
shares until the release of the interim results for the six months ended 29
February 2004, which are due to be released on or about 1 April 2004.
*: "substantially" is defined in the JSE Listings Requirements as a difference
of more than 30%.
