LATE SUBMISSION OF ANNUAL COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE

The JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("the JSE") wishes to advise that
Pachold has failed to submit its annual compliance certificate as stipulated in
the JSE"s Listings Requirements.
Accordingly, the company"s listing on the JSE SETS system has been annotated
with an "R" to indicate that the company has failed to submit its annual
compliance certificate timeously and that the listing of its securities is under
threat of suspension and possible termination. Should the company still fail to
submit its annual compliance certificate within seven days from the date of this
announcement, the company"s listing will be suspended and the suspension will
only be lifted upon receipt of the certificate by the JSE.
This announcement has been placed by the JSE in the interest of shareholders.
