Appointment of a Deputy Chairman and additions to the Board of Directors and
Executive Committee
Imperial Holdings Limited ("Imperial") is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr Eric Molobi as the Group"s non-executive deputy chairman with immediate
effect.
Mr Molobi, age 58, qualifications BA, is the chairman of Kagiso Trust Investment
Company and director of several listed companies and has been a non-executive
director of Imperial Holdings since 1998.
Further to the announcement of the 5 March 2004 regarding Imperial"s BEE
transaction with Ukhamba Holdings (Proprietary) Limited, (Registration number:
1998/017702/07) (Ukhamba) the latter have chosen to appoint the following two
Ukhamba directors to the Board of Imperial, effective from the 17 March 2004:
Mr Max Sisulu, age 58, qualifications - MA, MPA non-executive Chairman of
Ukhamba.
Mr Veli Mokoena, age 44, qualifications - BA, Post Graduate Diploma in
management (Wits) Executive Development Program (New York), CEO of Ukhamba.
The following members of the Imperial management team will join the Executive
Committee of Imperial Holdings with immediate effect:
Mr Terry Bantock - Head of Logistics (Southern Africa)
Mr Hubert Brody - Head of the Motor Vehicle Dealerships and Group Treasurer
Mr Nazeer Hoosen - Managing Director of Regent Life Assurance Company
