CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Nedbank Capital is authorised to announce that Paracon has entered into a
binding memorandum of understanding, for a proposed acquisition, which is
subject to, inter alia, the successful completion of a due diligence, at which
time a detailed terms announcement will be made. Accordingly, shareholders are
advised to exercise caution in dealing in their Paracon shares on the JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa until a further announcement has been made.
