ACQUISITION OF MARCOM PLASTICS (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED
The Board of Astrapak wishes to inform linked unitholders that Astrapak has
acquired 80% of the issued share capital of Marcom Plastics (Proprietary)
Limited ("Marcom") from the current Marcom shareholders for a cash consideration
of R7 200 000 with effect from 1 March 2004. The remaining 20% of the issued
share capital of Marcom will be retained by the current Marcom shareholders.
The acquisition enables Astrapak to focus on a new area of expertise, being that
of thin-walled injection moulding, giving Astrapak access to the dairy and dairy
related markets.
