Directors" interests in securities
Old Mutual plc (the "Company") has been informed by notifications received today
of the following changes (with effect from today"s date) in interests of
directors of the Company in shares in its 52%-owned South African banking
subsidiary, Nedcor Limited. In each case these have resulted from an election by
the director concerned to receive Nedcor"s final dividend for the year ended 31
December 2003 in the form of scrip, rather than cash:
*M J Levett, Chairman of the Company, has received an additional 96 shares in
Nedcor Limited (to a total attributed value of R4,320) under the scrip issue,
resulting in his total shareholding in Nedcor Limited increasing to 12,429
shares;
*Mr C F Liebenberg, a non-executive Director of the Company and Chairman of
Nedcor Limited, has received an additional 245 shares in Nedcor Limited (to a
total attributed value of R11,025) under the scrip issue, resulting in his total
shareholding in Nedcor Limited increasing to 31,707 shares; and
*Mr W A M Clewlow, a non-executive Director of the Company and Deputy Chairman
of Nedcor Limited, has received an additional 16 shares in Nedcor Limited (to a
total attributed value of R720) under the scrip issue, resulting in his total
shareholding in Nedcor Limited increasing to 2,016 shares.
