ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE BOARD OF Y3K GROUP LIMITED
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the JSE Listing Requirements, the following
information should be noted:
E C Rhoda has resigned as an executive director of Y3K Group Limited with effect
from 15 April 2004. Evelyn Rhoda has taken the opportunity to pursue her career
with another entity. The group wishes her every success with her new
opportunity.
Clifford S Katz has been appointed to the board of Y3K Group Limited. Since the
early 1990s, Clifford Katz"s career has been centered on the provisioning of
Information Technology solutions to the corporate market. In the 1990"s he
joined Datatec and in 1997 helped to establish DataSecure, one of South Africa"s
first focused IT security companies. In 2001 became the CEO of ISA, which is
today a leader in providing IT security solutions.
Philip Green has been appointed to the board of Y3K Group Limited. Philip
graduated with an MSc with distinction from the department of Computer Science
at the University of the Witwatersrand. He was a founding member of The Internet
Solution and while employed by Datatec Ltd, assisted with the establishment of
UUNET. In 1996 he jointly created DataSecure, Datatec"s network security
integrator, one of the first dedicated network security companies. In 2001 he
formed iSecure, a specialised independent network security solutions provider.
