RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
At the general meeting of the shareholders of Datatec held on Tuesday 20 April
2004, the requisite majority of shareholders passed the ordinary resolutions
relating to the proposed listing of Westcon Group Inc. on NASDAQ. Full details
for these resolutions are reflected in the circular to Datatec shareholders
dated 2 April 2004.
Shareholders of Datatec are also referred to the announcement dated 29 March
2004, wherein details for the disposal by Logicalis Group Limited in Australia
and New Zealand was provided. Shareholders are advised that the JSE has agreed
to the postponement of the circular until the release of Datatec"s audited
results for the period ended February 2004. The circular is expected to be
released shortly after the results announcement which is scheduled for 27 May
2004.
