CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE
In compliance with rule 3.67 of the JSE Listing Requirements, the following
information should be noted:
Mr S Zungu has resigned as Chairman and director on the board of Barnard Jacobs
Mellet Holdings Limited ("BJM") with immediate effect, having served as such
since 1 June 2002.
Mr Zungu is active as an entrepreneur in the black economic empowerment arena
and has found that this may come into conflict with some of his fiduciary duties
as an independent non-executive director and Chairman.
The board thanks Mr Zungu for his leadership and service and wishes him further
success in his other endeavours.
Mr J Bester will serve as Acting Chairman of BJM while the board seeks to fill
the position. Mr Bester has served as an independent non-executive director on
the board of BJM since 1 June 2002.
