Further to the cautionary announcements dated 17 November 2003, 22 December
2003, 2 February 2004 and 15 March 2004, shareholders are advised that
discussions are still in progress regarding Medi-Clinic"s participation in
Business Venture Investments No. 790 (Proprietary) Limited ("Bidco") as well as
the acquisition of certain hospitals from Bidco. Accordingly, shareholders are
advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the company"s securities
until a further announcement is made.
