TRADING UPDATE AND CAUTIONARY STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the company"s headline earnings per share for the
interim period ended 31 March 2004 are likely to be substantially
("substantially" equating to a change of greater than 30% as defined in the
Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("JSE")) above
those of the comparative period. It is anticipated that the interim results
will be published on or about 6 May 2004.
As the company"s headline earnings per share have not been reviewed and/or
reported on by the company"s auditors, shareholders are advised to exercise
caution when dealing in the company"s securities on the JSE until the interim
results are published.
