RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Bridge Capital Services (Pty) Limited is authorised to announce that at the
general meeting of Aquila shareholders held on Friday, 14 May 2004 shareholders
voted in favour of the resolutions to approve:
* the disposal of 50% of the companys 23,43% interest in Global Resorts SA
(Pty) Limited (GRSA) to a consortium led by the management of GRSA; and
* the repayment of Aquilas claims against GRSA.
As all the outstanding conditions precedent have been fulfilled, the disposal is
now effective. Following the disposal, the board of directors is considering
various proposals that may have a material effect on the price of the companys
shares. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing
in the companys shares until a further announcement is made.
