POSITIVE TRADING UPDATE AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
1. POSITIVE TRADING UPDATE
Synergy shareholders are advised that in finalising the audited financial
statements for the year ended 29 February 2004, the results in relation to
headline earnings, cash flow and net asset value per share are materially higher
than those of the proceeding year-end, being 28 February 2003.
2. CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
As a result of the positive trading update, shareholders are advised to exercise
caution in dealing in the company"s securities until the audited financial
results are published, which is expected to be on 19 May 2004.
