APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa
Listings Requirements, in respect of a change to the Board of Directors,
notification is hereby given that Ms Phumzo Noxaka has been appointed as a non-
executive Director of Faritec with effect from yesterday, 18 May 2004. She has
also been appointed to the audit committee.
Ms Noxaka"s qualifications and experience are as follows:
Qualifications: CA(SA) (B.Admin, Hon B.Com Accounting, Higher diploma in
Computer Audit)
Experience: Phumzo"s experience spans approximately 5 years experience in the IT
industry from an IT Risk (audit) perspective with 2 of the major South African
banks. Core duties included IT Risk Management, General Controls Reviews,
Application Controls Reviews and Project (SDLC) Audits.
She is currently employed as the Financial Manager of Meeg Bank Ltd, a black
empowered bank, predominantly active in the Eastern Cape. Meeg Bank is a
subsidiary of the ABSA Group. Phumzo"s responsibles include the full financial
function, as well as providing input into the overall company strategy, and
attending audit and credit committee meetings.
