DETAILS OF GENERAL MEETINGS
Shareholders of the companies are referred to the companies` joint announcement
published on SENS on 15 April 2004 relating to the disposal of the business of
Isotec Nutrition (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Alliance to Fresenius Kabi South
Africa (Pty) Ltd for a cash consideration of R25 million (`the disposal`).
Shareholders are advised that a joint circular regarding the disposal and
including notices of general meetings of shareholders of each company has been
posted to shareholders of the companies today. The Forim general meeting and
the Alliance general meeting are to be held on 4 June 2004 at 17 Faraday Street,
Village Main, Johannesburg, 2001 at 10:00 and at 10:15 (or so soon thereafter as
the Forim general meeting is concluded or adjourned) respectively.
