GRANTING OF OPTIONS
In compliance with paragraph 3.63 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa, the following information is disclosed:
The Trustees of The JD Group Employee Share Incentive Scheme (`the Scheme`)
have approved a regular grant of options on unissued ordinary shares in JD Group
in terms of the Scheme totalling 2 010 000 shares, equivalent to 1,1 % of the
Company`s issued share capital, on 19 May 2004 at a strike price of R35.10 per
share, to the following directors:
