PRESS RELEASE
In view of speculation regarding the status of the Ministerial Inspectors`
report following their inspection of Corpcapital`s affairs, we wish to place the
following on record:
* Corpcapital, its directors and employees, co-operated fully and
expeditiously with the inspectors throughout their investigation.
* Corpcapital completed its interactions with the inspectors, timeously in
conformity with the inspectors` timetable, during the last week of March
2004.
* Corpcapital has done nothing which could possibly have delayed the
completion of the investigation or the issue of the inspector`s report.
* Corpcapital favours the urgent issue of the report to which end it has
written to the Minister and the Department of Trade & Industry requesting
the urgent resolution of whatever is currently the cause for the delay in
the issue of the report and tendering its assistance insofar as it may be
able to resolve the delay.
