TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the group results for the year ended 31 March 2004
are expected to be substantially* higher than the comparative results for the
previous financial period.
(*Substantially is defined in the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities
Exchange South Africa as a change equal to or greater than 30% when compared to
the prior comparative period.)
The results for the year ended 31 March 2004, which have not been reviewed,
audited, or reported on by Wescos auditors, are currently being finalised and
are expected to be published on Monday, 21 June 2004.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to exercise caution when dealing in Wesco
shares until the results are published.
