RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING
HCI shareholders are advised that, at the general meeting of HCI held at e.tv`s
offices today, the ordinary resolutions ratifying and approving:
- the disposal of an effective 42,5% indirect economic interest in Africa on
Air (Proprietary) Limited;
- the acquisition of all the shares in and claims against Golden Arrow Bus
Services (Proprietary) Limited by HCI and its subsidiary Mettle Limited for
a cash purchase consideration of R250 million; and
- an amendment to the HCI Employee Share Trust (2001),
were passed by the requisite majority of HCI shareholders present at the general
meeting or represented by proxy.
