TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the company`s earnings and headline earnings per
share for the year ending 30 June 2004 are expected to be substantially higher
than those for the previous comparative period. (`Substantially` is defined in
the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa as meaning
30% or greater.)
As this financial information has not been reviewed or reported on by the
auditors of the company, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when
dealing in Diamond Core shares until the company`s results are published,
expected to be in late September 2004.
