RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETINGS
Shareholders of the companies are referred to the companies` joint announcements
published on SENS on 15 April 2004 and 2 June 2004 and the joint circular posted
to Forim shareholders on 20 May 2004 and to Alliance shareholders on 28 May 2004
(`the circular`), relating to the disposal by Isotec Nutrition (Pty) Ltd, a
subsidiary of Alliance (`Isotec`) of the business of Isotec to Fresenius Kabi
South Africa (Pty) Ltd for a cash consideration of R25 million (`the disposal`).
Shareholders of the companies are advised that all the resolutions contained in
the circular were approved by the requisite majority of Forim shareholders in
the general meeting held on 4 June 2004 and the requisite majority of Alliance
shareholders in the general meeting held today. The disposal is now
unconditional.
