RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr. William Kirsh, who has been a director since 1 July 1997, has resigned from
the Board of Massmart with effect from 30 June 2004, due to increasing
commitments in his capacity as Chief Executive of Primedia Limited. He now has
no remaining listed company non-executive directorships.
The Board and Management of Massmart would like to thank Mr. Kirsh for his
valuable contribution and counsel over the past seven years and wish him every
success in the future.
