DECLARATION OF THE FINAL DISTRIBUTION FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE 2004
Introduction
Statements of Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (AC 107 revised) require
that a distribution may only be reflected in the income statement of a company
once it has been declared. In order to comply, and also to facilitate the proper
matching of income and the distribution thereof, the directors of iFour have
declared the final distribution prior to year end.
Results
iFour`s results for the year ending 30 June 2004 are expected to be published on
SENS and in the press on or about Wednesday, 24 August 2004.
Distributions
The directors have declared a final distribution for the year ending 30 June
2004 of 41,0 cents per unit, for the period 1 January 2004 to 30 June 2004.
Linked unitholders are referred to the announcement dated 16 February 2004 in
which the total interim distribution of 37,0 cents per unit for the six months
ended 31 December 2003 was announced. The aggregate distribution for the
financial year ending 30 June 2004 is therefore 78,0 cents per unit (2003: 75,0
cents per unit).
Declaration of distribution number 5
Notice is hereby given of the declaration of the final distribution of 41,0
cents per linked unit for the six months to 30 June 2004. The last day to trade
in order to receive the distribution is Friday, 20 August 2004 and the linked
units will commence trading ex distribution on Monday, 23 August 2004 with the
record date being Friday, 27 August 2004. Payment of the distribution of 41,0
cents per linked unit will be effected on Monday, 30 August 2004.
Linked unit certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between
Monday, 23 August 2004 and Friday, 27 August 2004.
