RENEWAL OF REBSERVE CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the cautionary announcements dated 23 February 2004, 5 April 2004 and
10 May 2004 relating to the proposed merger of Rebserve and Mvelaphanda Holdings
(Proprietary) Limited (`Mvela Holdings`) (`the merger`), shareholders are
advised that the process of finalising the merger, including the signing of
formal agreements in respect of the merger and the completion of reciprocal due
diligence investigations by both Rebserve and Mvela Holdings, including a
detailed valuation of Mvela Holdings` investments, is proceeding as anticipated.
The merger, if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price
of Rebserve shares. Shareholders are therefore advised to continue to exercise
caution when dealing in Rebserve shares until a further announcement is made.
