DECLARATION OF THE FINAL DISTRIBUTION FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE 2004.
Introduction
The Statement of Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (AC 107 revised)
requires that a distribution may only be reflected in the income statement of a
company once it has been declared. In order to comply, and also to facilitate
the proper matching of income and the distribution thereof, the directors of
Pangbourne have declared the final distribution prior to year end.
Results
Pangbourne`s audited results for the year ending 30 June 2004 are expected to be
published on SENS and in the press on or about Friday, 27 August 2004.
Distributions
The directors have declared a final distribution for the year ending 30 June
2004 of 49,0 cents per unit, for the period 1 January 2004 to 30 June 2004.
Unitholders are referred to the announcement dated 20 February 2004 in which the
interim distribution of 42,5 cents per unit for the six months ended 31 December
2003 was declared.
The aggregate distribution for the financial year ending 30 June 2004 is
therefore 91,5,0 cents per unit (2003: 89,0 cents per unit)
Declaration of dividend number 36 and debenture interest
Notice is hereby given of the declaration of a distribution of 49, 0 cents per
combined unit, comprising dividend number 36 of 0,9608 cents per share and
interest on debentures calculated at 48,0392 cents per combined unit (`the
distribution`). The last day to trade in order to receive the distribution is
Friday, 1 October 2004 and the combined units will commence trading ex
distribution on Monday, 4 October 2004 with the record date being Friday, 8
October 2004. Payment of the dividend and debenture interest of 49, 0 cents per
combined unit will be effected on Monday, 11 October 2004.
Combined unit certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between
Monday, 4 October 2004 and Friday, 8 October 2004.
